The last 7 days have been a hum of activity here at Windsor House because Z returns to Taiwan tomorrow. There has been packing, throwing away, sorting, and shopping, and I've sorted through my stuff as well as giving Z a hand where needed. It's a bit hard to believe that its been 2 years since we moved in here! Z will be back to visit at Christmas, and we'll be skyping as well. Z's boyfriend M needed a place to stay so he's very helpfully staying with us and will be another week or 2 so I won't be on my own and I can make sure he gets on ok with Z gone.
As you know the royal wedding is this week, and Britain stopped working last Thursday (Fri and Mon government holidays) and this Fri and Mon are also holidays! Its hard to get any work done but there's been a joyous atmosphere. :) I've decided to go into London to get photos of the wedding crowds- there are expected to be 40,000 in Trafalgar Square alone! I'll go in early and 200,000 on the parade route. I hope to see the excitement for myself, then come home and go to a local wedding party at our nearby pub to get some photos of that.
It has cooled off again though the sun has still been out, and I hope the weather lasts. Other events I'm photographing include a truckfest, May Day festivities, and picnickers at Anglesey Abbey.

It's been an interesting week here- gorgeous weather, taking photos of birds, and writing proposals for business. I've also been to the zoo today and saw baby elephants- they are so cute they make your head want to explode with cuteness. :) Whenever I visit a zoo I think of the incredible creativity of our Gd, who makes things for his own pleasure- I love to see his creatures and I often wonder what He calls them! We say "elephant" but what does the one who made them call them? It's no wonder that in Genesis it says "and it was good" after everything. :) Today I saw baby elephants, butterflies landed on me, bats brushed my face as they flew by in the darkness, and the trees all smelled amazing around every corner! I heard incredible songs by birds of all sorts, and admired how even pigeons are lovely. I said hello to an orangutan and caught her eye, and I talked to a python who showed me the inside of its strange mouth. I wondered what the animals thought of us, and praised my Gd who enjoys his creation and shares that abundant joy with me. In the natural world I feel like Gd says to me " Hey did you see this one? Isn't she beautiful!" at every turn. "Did you smell this flower? Its great!" I love it. :)
There was a study saying that the average age of greatest happiness is 75. I thought of my Living Proof friends and how happy they are because they have true happiness from Gd, and they share it with everyone. I hope I'll be like them when I get older, and like them still feel young. :)
Spring will be there soon MI folks- hang in there!

It's Friday night here, and it's been a really warm day in Cambridge- nearly 70F. The baby leaves have come out on all but the Oaks, the dawn chorus of birds is singing from 5am (I hear them every morning!) and the general mood here is very happy indeed. :) Schools started their Easter holidays (ie vacations) of 2 weeks length, and the royal wedding plus Bank Holidays is providing an 11 day vacation for most Britains. The sun was gorgeous and warm today, and I had to mow the lawn for the first time this season!
My tenure at Windsor House is swiftly coming to an end now- Zephyr returns to Taiwan on April 28, and praise Gd I've been provided with a lovely temporary accomodation for the summer. Gd has always provided for my housing needs, and I was a bit worried about living completely alone as that's never really worked well for me. Zephyr's boyfriend M is a friend of ours from StAG (that's our chch in Cambridge) and his family has an enormous house with 2 apartments attached to it. One is free, so they offered it to me for the summer because they're trying to sell the house. It's a good sized 1 bedroom apartment in the countryside, just what I was looking for, but with the benefit of sharing a laundry room with M's family. I'm really blessed to have a lovely family right next door, and I've offered to help take care of the lawn and flowers etc at their house since I'm good at that sort of thing. :) Pr for me to get the house packed up and moved by the end of the month, and for things to not be inconvenient for Zephyr and Nelly during the process. Also pr that I'd be a blessing to M's family, as both of his parents have chronic fatigue syndrome and could use help with chores and things around the house.
G is doing very well, his work has been going very smoothly and things are going well for Citrix, which is great. He's off to Wales next week with Zephyr and M for a week long conference called New Word Alive, which is a fantastic conference for British believers. They all went last year and really enjoyed studying Gd's word and hanging out together.
Tomorrow I'm taking part in a photo shoot at a local junk yard- 4 of us from the Camera Club are doing a model shoot there, should be good fun! The club had an annual exhibition on Saturday which went really well, and my role of helping people get to know each other and learn photography is really helping the club gel together- I'm really blessed by that!
My ladies' bbl study is going well- they've finally warmed up a bit and I'm able to get to know them better. But like everything else in Cambridge, things stop for Easter term holidays so we won't be meeting for another 3 weeks! :)
That's the update from tropical Cambridge, hope it's not too cold back home. :)

I've been very busy recently with camera club events and things, including the exhibition today which went over very well. Please pr that as I am a good friend to people and get to know them I'll have the chance to share the good news! The same is true for my business colleagues through BNI. This Tuesday I have a presentation to discuss my company, and I want to be intentional about my faith.
Its been warm and springlike today! I hope the weather back home will break soon!!
