I wanted to post up some of the pictures we took on a little photo excursion on New Years Day. Here they are- if you live in Michigan they may look familiar....we stayed with a friend a bit farther north and got 10 inches.

I always think these look like shredded wheat. :)
Some interesting snow bits formed from someone's tires driving over the snow and then the snow falling out of the tire. 
Jen photoing something in the forest where we went for a walk on New Years Day. The snow was way over our ankles and we got cold pretty fast.
