My blog has been a bit neglected this past week because I've been desperately trying to get my photo website set up right. I migrated over to Smugmug from Phanfare because phanfare is changing to a every person must log in sort of thing in June, and they're forcing everyone to do that. Clearly that's not what I want, so I changed to smugmug, and have been over my head in CSS, Javascript, and html (web design languages) and searching through forums for help to get my site set up. You'll notice that my kristidunlap.com looks different now, and it's still a work in progress since we're heading back to Michigan tomorrow for a wedding, and I won't have much time to work on it.
iBASE has been going very well- tonight was our second night, and the girls are all really interested to know and understand and learn about the OT. It's been very encouraging, and we feel so blessed to be able to teach, and to learn from them. My ladies group has been going well too, and the ladies also are seeking to know and understand, and apply truth to their lives, which is such an encouragement. I'm learning a lot about leading studies, and by practicing getting better at leading a study which is so cross cultural.
G's work is going well- they are contemplating moving because their building doesn't have sufficient electrical supply for the company to expand. I've never heard of that kind of problem before. :) Anyway they might need to move, which is pain for everyone, especially since people who are all biking to work would need to start driving, and most don't have a car available for that. The move won't happen until September anyway, but still it's causing stress for people. G's pr triple has been going well, and he and another guy who is interested in tentmaking are meeting and studying a book together about integrity in business. They seem to be getting a lot from it, and the other guy is in the process of starting an import business of Chinese art, and is going to China this week to scout potential places to buy art from on a formal basis. Very interesting.
I haven't packed a thing, so I better do that. :) Our flight tomorrow leaves here 8am EST, arrives in Baltimore 8 hours later, and then we have a short layover and on to Detroit. We should be arriving at 7:30pm. I don't think we'll be taking an indirect flight like this again- I don't know what possessed me to do it, it must have been cheaper. :) We're flying out Tuesday night coming back to London. We're looking forward to catching up with as many people as we can while we're back.
