Amazingly the realtor guy actually emailed us today the forms that we need to fill out for the house application- we were surprised. :) Everything here works on a paper form basis, and a few cutting edge places are actually using the internet, but most are not. Anyway we're hoping to be able to move in about 6 weeks- that gives us time to sort things here, give the landlords notice and time to find a new tenant, etc. I've had good recommendations from Americans about Allied shipping service, so I've requested a quote from them. If they could just show up and get everything from the storage unit that would be wonderful! How exactly that is going to happen is a mystery to me. There are some other things I wish I could send over with the unit, like some picture frames for my prints (now that we'll have loads of wall space I can put all my stuff up). But we'll see. Right now our main concern is to get a person to live with us.
