March 22, 2008 Jen and Hope arrived

For those who are interested, Hope and Jen made it here safe and sound, though not without excitement. There was a 2 hour flight departure delay in Detroit due to a snowstorm, followed by a discovery that there were line works on the train route they were supposed to take, forcing them to take an unknown route from Gatwick into London Bridge, followed by a confusing Underground experience, during which they managed to get to King's Cross, and after a confusing "where is the Cambridge train departing from" they made it here around 3pm. Whew. They managed to arrive in the middle of a Cambridge "snow storm" involving hail of the smallish variety. :) We're heading into town to walk around, and I'm sure photos will be appearing at some point, detailing any adventures. :)
