China plans have been sorted out finally- thanks to all of you who were pring about it! We have 2 Chinese friends getting married in Zhengzhou, and they asked me if I'd photograph their wedding. G decided to go as well, but we couldn't decide whether to both go on a tour after the wedding or not. Traveling together can be a big source of stress for both of us, but in the end G decided to go with me on a tour of the minority Miao villages in SW China. It should be a very interesting tour, pr for us that we wouldn't have too much stress from it.
I mentioned awhile back that because of some mental health issues G has been having we decided after a lot of pr that it would be best to live separately for awhile. Gd has blessed that decision and it has been very healthy and helpful for us both. Pr for us as we try to get to the bottom of these issues and to get G the proper sort of mental health care that he needs as the mental health system here is not as good as we have in the States. We're taking it all in stride as best we can, trying to rely on JC everyday for his wisdom and guidance.
On a totally different note, I'm off to learn how to take care of horses this afternoon- really looking forward to it! But I also have a lot of business stuff to do before I leave on Friday for Beijing!
I hope you are all well and taking care of yourselves in the impending cold- take care on sidewalks!
