Well we are off to Norway for 4 days early tomorrow morning so I'm keeping this short. The Camera club went "very well indeed" as we say here, with 2 individuals introducing themselves to me, which is a first! I've been attending for 2 months and so far I am acquainted with 5 people. We're slowly getting there. :) I went to a Bounce a Round inreach event tonight and had to deal with a similar level of difficulty in chatting with people- they all have children but me, and they mostly know each other. But such is the lot of an international worker- we have to often place ourselves into situations which may feel socially awkward or difficult, and just make the best of it. :) I try to focus on at least one good conversation with someone- a small but reachable goal.
We're hoping to be able to update and post some photos from Norway while we're there but no guarantees. I'm really wanting to see the aurora and to share some photos of it with you all!
